Sash and Case Window Refurbishment.

Privately owned townhouse in Edinburgh’s New Town area. The project focused on the full overhaul of the sash and case windows throughout the property.

This involved the installation of extensive temporary protections in each room and the relocation of furnishings & artworks for the duration of the project.

The works included the stripping out of windows, sanding down to bare wood, installation of new ironmongery, installation of new bespoke weights and sash cords.  Defective glazing was renewed and each window fully decorated internally and externally.

In conjunction with this we also repointed and replaced several decorative sandstone units on front elevation.  Coupled with a thorough overhaul of the roof coverings, we have safeguarded the owners' worry-free enjoyment of their property for many years to come.
